- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2 cups water or low-fat milk
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp honey (optional)

Cook Oats
In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil. Add oats and salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in diced apple and cinnamon. Cook for 3 more minutes until apples soften.

Divide into bowls. Top with walnuts and a drizzle of honey if desired.
